Grit recently delivered a programme at Canterbury Christ Church University. It’s been a fantastic journey, with the university very supportive of the programme and of students involved.
Special thanks go to Sophie Chadwick (Director of Enterprise and Employability) and Caroline Demetriou, they have worked hard to advertise the programme within the university and created a strong support network for the students, enabling them to continue applying learnings to their lives after the programme’s end.
Students have been open to Grit’s approach, participating with compassion and commitment. In their own words:
“The training was engaging from the outset – there was a great balance of discussion, self reflection and playfulness which helped to make clear the message (the trainer) was conveying about self-created barriers”
“It is very relevant to me at university and should prove to be an excellent way of improving my way of thinking and enable me to gain more out of my course”
“The training is amazing to teach people self-reflection and taking control of your life and decisions. Thank you so much”
We’re now working with Canterbury Christ Church, looking at what’s next for delivery during the next academic year.
