Grit wins an award!

We are delighted to have won Nottingham Trent University's 2018 award for Best Contribution to Student Employability, Capability and Skills Development. This is what the University had to say about it:

Best Contribution to Student Employability, Capability and Skills Development

Grit are a charitable organisation that has provided development and support to NTU staff and students. Their work address the restrictive beliefs, attitudes and limitations that individuals impose on themselves, creating leaps in participant expectation that enables them to achieve what had previously seemed out of reach.

For undergraduates, attainment goes up, retention increases, behaviour improves and students’ increase their self-esteem and sense of belonging. These are essential traits that the University is trying to develop in our students through the Success for All programme.

This is what our COO, Ellie Garraway, had to say on winning the award, “We're very proud to receive this award from NTU. Our partnership with the university has been one of learning, growth and a shared commitment to make a difference - this is what has made our work together so transformational for all concerned”.

We look forward to further partnership work with Nottingham Trent University and continuing to innovate our programmes for staff and students at the institution.
